About

I’m glad to have you here. This page offers a brief look into my background and professional journey. Originally from Siberia, I moved from a standard public school to my current studies at MIPT (Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology).

My work is focused on biophysics, a field I am deeply passionate about. A significant part of my life has also been dedicated to scientific tournaments, specifically the IYNT and IYPT. On this website, you can explore the various projects I’ve been working on.

Folomin Results

My journey with the IYNT began in 2023 when I took on the role of scorekeeper. At the time, we relied on Google Sheets for data entry, a manual process that frequently led to errors, particularly in tracking yellow cards.

The following year, I implemented a system developed by Egor Lesnevsky. While it automated the calculation of points and penalties, it required a rigid input format using TXT files and specific indices for participants, jury members, and tasks. It was a step forward, but the workflow wasn't fast enough for the high-paced environment of a tournament.

Driven by the need for a more efficient solution, I developed my own system: Folomin Results. What started as a scoring tool evolved into a comprehensive tournament ecosystem, co-developed with Anton Shkoldin. Today, our platform handles everything from team and jury registration to live results, specialized timers, and badge generation. Capable of supporting various tournament formats, Folomin Results is now used globally for both regional and international events, simplifying tournament management for organizers worldwide.
